Size is 11 inches high, operation is by side ratchet handle/ Marked on the base "KING OF THE ROAD No 4 MOTOR JACK JOS LUCAS Ltd BIRMINGHAM" and around the top section "JOS LUCAS LTD BIRMINGHAM REG No 474411". This vetran / Edwardian motor jack would have been used on the finest cars of the period and a similar one is shown amongst Lucas accessories in the 1903 Crystal Palace Automobile Show catalogue. Quite a rare jack and a superb addition to a veteran car toolkit.
